How to operate knobs on Guitar Rig 7 with a magic mouse?

Hello! I have an Imac M3 with OS 15 with magic keyboard and mouse.
I cannot seem to adjust the virtual knobs on an instrument selection with the magic mouse. The mouse works just fine on my garageband plug ins, but not GR7. What do I need to do?
