Bizarre, annoying, mysterious delay with Kontakt, in Logic Pro, only in play mode

Sorry to have wasted peoples' time. The problem, though not solved, has partly improved. This makes it all the more strange. I guess 'll just have to keep at it and hope a process of elimination will solve it.

    Do Logic and Kontakt both have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

    What are your settings in Logic? For these 2 pages?

    If you put the same settings do you still have issues?

    If you open Kontakt in standalone, do you also have a big latency?
