Anyone using S88mk3 and Kontakt 8

I am having a nightmare with my S88mk3 and kontakt 8 running in latest logic and OSX 15. it seems to loose connection with displaying the correct information on the screen and light guid etc, and the plugin and browser button lights go out on the s88. Anyone else having issues?

    I am, and am not seeing those issues.

    A few things:

    • We do not yet officially support macOS 15. This is one possible cause - if it's possible to downgrade, you might consider doing so, however, try the other steps first (see below).
    • Make sure you've installed version 1.8.x of NI Hardware Connection Service (via Native Access 2).
    • Make sure you've installed version 1.8.x of the Kontrol S MK3 firmware (via this link)
    • If possible, run USB-C to USB-C rather than USB-C to USB-A
    • Connect an auxiliary power source to the power only USB input on the Kontrol S MK3
    • With everything connected, go to Logic Pro > Control Surfaces and click "Rebuild Defaults"

    What chipset is your computer? LMK - because it might be the case you need a USB Hub instead of plugging directly in.

    Hey and thanks so much for your help,

    I have rolled back OSX to the last updated 14, I have made sure the Mk3 is on the latest firmware and I do have an external usb power going to the Mk3 as well as the data one going to the Mac, everything is updated etc in native access, I have also rebuilt the defaults as suggested. I am on a Mac Studio m1 ultra with 128bg ram. This is how the mk3 and logic / kontakt etc are now behaving, it’s definitely better but with a few bugs that’s very annoying, I sometimes have to go to controller settings in kontakt plugin and manually select the Mk3 in the drop down menu, this is a pain, and the guid lights don’t automatically show up when selecting a different instrument, your have to start playing the keys for it to show up. Do you think I should have the data usb c coming from the mk3 to a powered hub and then to the Mac ? I really hope you can help me out here, it’s has been an absolute nightmare getting this far with the kompleate 15 collectors edition updat 😩 looking forward to your reply
