Why is Kontact so troublesome to use on Mac OS?

So I've heard this is kind of a known thing but using Kontact 7 and now 8 in Logic Pro isn't the easiest thing in the world… Sometimes when I load in my VSTs, certain parts of the interface get locked out… no matter how much i click on them, Usually i load them into Kontact 6 and its usually fine… not ideal. I did however recently buy Kithara which DEMANDS Kontact player 8… and yep! some of the interface is locked out for me so i can't really use the product properly -__- If anyone has experienced this and has some answers / solutions I would be MOST appreciative ^^

    Oh i should have explained the 'locked out' part - when i hover over some of the text menus and click they didn't have a hover over state and clicking didn't take me to any other pages. The Full Disk Access seems to have fixed that tho ^^

    Hey @Shabello What do you mean by "locked out"? Can you share a screenshot of the issue? What's your operating system? Do you use an external monitor? What model? Can you reproduce the issue with Kontakt in standalone?

    Hi - i am using an M2 Max Studio Mac with seperate monitor and OS Ventura 13.5. I saw a comment about allowing Native Access and Logic Pro Full Disk Access - tried it and it seems to have solved it for now. Will keep you posted if I still have issues ^^
