S88 mk 2 and kontakt

Is it possible to launch and interact with kontakt (using the S88 mk 2) without using the Komplete Kontrol Plug-in? I've seen it done on Youtube with the Mk 3. Thanks

    It is not possible. Kontakt was only directly integrated with the MK3 S-series.
