S61 MK2 sudden jittery behavior. Instruments unusable.

Recently installed Spitfire libraries. Everything seemed to be working, but now I can preview sounds in Komplete Kontrol but when I load them the S61 MK2 keyboard goes haywire, rapidly jittering and latching keys permanently. Can not use any of my libraries until this is fixed.

    Hello,

does the keyboard also behave like that of you don't use komplete kontrol, in midi mode?

    Is this on mac/pc?
    What DAW are you using?
What version of KK are you using (latest V3 of KK or V2)?
Have you tested the same loaded plugin in the standalone desktop version of KK?

PC WIN 10 i9 32GB Cubase 13 Dorico 5 Kontakt 7 Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2. No, if I start Kontakt 7 and S61 behaves normally as a MIDI keyboard. But when I go into Komplete Kontrol I hear the demo sounds for the library VSTs, and I can select an instrument on the S61 and press to load it. But then the S61 goes mental. Seems hung up in a loop. Keypresses stay down and it races between keys. ight guidance for some li9braries load OK, but the first key you press it hangs again. It was intermittent at first but now all the time. Recycle everything, restart PC, same thing. Works fine with Kontakt 7, but not Komplete Kontrol, so I lose transport control of the DAW.

The way its feeding back in Komplete Control, but working fine everywhere else, I'm begining to think I must have something configured wrong in KK.

Ok, but have you tested in Komplete Kontrol standalone (not just Kontakt)?

What i'm trying to ascertain if the issue you see is related to KK in general or maybe with just the VST version of KK within a DAW. If you are not aware, standalone KK is the desktop version that is not VST and that should always be used as a benchmark when you have an issue since you could have something misconfigured in the MIDI settings in your DAW that could be causing the issue (like selecting the KK DAW MIDI port as a Midi Input/Output for instance)

Also using SSL 2+ USB audio and routing S61 keyboard MIDI through the SSL.

Yes, the problem occurs if I just click on KK on the desktop (Cubase not running), but everything is fine clicking the desktop Kontakt. Everything seems to be working inside Cubase and Dorico. Begining to suspect a user interface error- the user! Where should I look for information regarding KK MIDI configuration. Weird thing is that sometimes it all works perfectly. Tried loading instruments in different orders, but nothing conclusive.

I have discovered what the problem was- I didn't know what the hell I was doing! I had too many things selected in KK MIDI, particularly the remotes, and had created a feedback loop. Once those items were deselected the jittering stopped and KK is working fine.

Thanks to everyone who helped out on this green horn issue.
