Kontakt 6 isn't working. I got a new Mac and now I have problems reinstalling my Kontakt Libraries.
Hello!
I transmitted my old Mac's data into my new one. When I open my Kontakt 6 in Logic, I can only access the demo versions of the libraries I bought, f.e. Analog Dreams, Hybrid Keys, …
When I want to upgrade my plugins in Native Access, it says:
Download Failed: Could not create new file or truncate existing file.
I therefore read the support article for this subject on the Native Instrument page, where it says that the mentioned libraries are saved in the wrong location on my computer. I moved from their right position, when I cleaned up my old Mac and relocated some things. Although this hasn't kept Kontakt from working in the past.
I was wondering, how I can put them back into an appropriate position that can ensure successful updates, that are necessary for the libraries to work.
Any Help would be much appreciated!
Thank You!
Sincerely,
Lyan

If your new Mac is running Sonoma - K6 is not a supported option.
And even more unsupported if you are running the latest Logic as well.
Might be time to consider an upgrade.
