Will I be able to run Kontakt with this setup?

I am moving from Windows with I7 14700K 32GB RAM to a Macbook Pro with M3 Pro and 18GB ram, mainly due to UX purposes. But if I still want to make music, will my new Macbook still run 30 instances of Kontakt without crashing?

Thanks!

    I assume that's a typo and you mean 16GB.

I don't recommend less (or more, for most people) than 32GB. Don't listen to those who say you need less with the M-series chips. My work machine (M1 Pro) has 16GB and I regularly run into using swap space due to some memory hungry applications and everything slows down when this happens. Maybe it is better than when memory was separate from the CPU chip, but I am unconvinced. The SSD is separate and that's where swap space goes. Swapping is still slow.

My Mac mini (M2 Pro) has 32GB and I do not have this problem.

You have 32GB on your Windows system. I do not think it is a good idea to go down to 16. You might get away with 24GB, but if you're going there why not go all the way to 32?
