I think he wants to upgrade from K12U CE to K13 Standard, which is not possible. I always wished these upgrades were also possible. I understand that it would probably be a minority, but it's good to have the option for those who only want the main software additions of the new Komplete and are not interested in the newer Kontakt libraries and Expansions.

There seem to be some issues with the website at present. I own Kontakt 6 but when I try to purchase an upgrade, it says I do not. Kontakt 6 does show on my products in my account. It looked fine yesterday but when I decided to go ahead today, it had gone wrong. I am nervous about going ahead with the purchase.

Can anyone from NI advise please...

You'd still be able to get the Komplete Upgrade at discount. We don't have offers on hardware atm which means buying an S88 doesn't come at a better price during SoS.

Sorry if this question haha been answered already! I'm fairly new to NI. But I wanted to know if this would work...could I buy Komplete 13 Select, and then use the Summer of Sound discount to upgrade to Komplete 13 for the $99.50, or to Komplete Ultimate for $199.50? Because obviously that would be cheaper than buying either of those latter versions outright, correct? Just want to see if I'm understanding the upgrades correctly!

Hi @Lakinmusic is it Komplete 13 Ultimate you're aiming to get? If so, you can get Komplete Select for 199$ then upgrade to Komplete 13 Ultimate for 999$ 499.5$.

That's normal actually. It's quite complex to make every single upgrade path consistent considering we have to account for a lot of different factors. We already mentioned it in this thread and if you want to go to Collector's, you need to use go from Select to Komplete 13 and then Collector's edition.

Can you purchase an upgrade to 13 Ultimate now during the sale - if you haven't purchased the MK2 keyboard yet?

So you would get the upgrade to 13 Ultimate savings now - but wouldn't be using it until you bought your MK2 keyboard (that includes Select) this fall.
