Maschine Mikro MK3, shift button sticks?

So, I'm not quite sure what is happening here, or if it's something I'm accidentally doing?

Basically, if I'm jamming on the Mikro, hitting SHIFT + Any Button, let's say SHIFT + Record to count myself in; sometimes the shift button gets stuck to its engaged position. It isn't lit up, but the controller starts responding as if I'm still holding shift down. So; if I press a Pad, it'll give me the SHIFT option of that pad ('Clear' on Pad 9 for example), or if I hit TAP, it'll engage and disengage the Metronome, even though I've released SHIFT. It's almost like the SHIFT acts like a CAPS LOCK key for the controller.

Doesn't happen in every project, but some projects it happens nearly every time. Not running any weird VSTs - all Native Instruments Stuff.

I don't know if there's some sort of SHIFT Lock that I'm triggering accidentally? I don't know what's going on. Putting it into MIDI mode and back, clears it up until it somehow triggers again (often over and over again in one session). Super frustrating.

Is it a bug in Maschine 2.0?

    Hello,

you could try to use it in midi mode with a midi monitor like midi-ox or midi monitor in a daw. If it happens in midi mode too, then it´s a hardware issue i would guess. Don´t you hear the click when pressing and after releasing again, and normally you clearly feel the switch point from the micro button they use underneath.

I don't think it's a physical button issue. If I chuck it in MIDI mode when it happens, I can toggle the shift (light on/off) while pressing it. It all seems OK. I have a feeling there are a number of issues with Maschine 2.0 and how it communicates with the Mikro at times. It seems to just get stuck thinking SHIFT is on. Has happened on two different PCs.
