Any way to get Traktor S4 MK1 working on current Windows 11

Hi everyone, I took a hiatus from DJing and I am keen to get back into it. I still have my Traktor S4 MK1 in great condition and I tried linking it up to Traktor Pro 2 with the right driver installed.

I have had the issue where Traktor Pro 2 will not open which seems to be a compatibility issue reported on this forum. If I upgraded to Traktor Pro 3 or 4 would my S4 MK1 be able to connect or is it also completely out of date? I have seen mixed answers on this forum and would appreciate an answer :)

It would be a shame for such a great DJ controller to go to waste!

Yes, that should work without any problems, you can install and test the demo of Traktor Pro 4.

    Hi Moggie,

I'm having issues with connecting to the ASIO S4 Driver via my Windows 11 laptop. I can connect to a WASAPI shared option that appears but I believe it to be the root cause of some series DPC latency.

    Were you successful?

Not sure where the issue is, but I cant use any S4 units with any setting combinations in updated win 11 or win 10 systems. They all have choppy audio, at best with the recommended settings I have audio issues every 5-10 minutes. I have 3 old S4 units, they are useless for live events. I have had great success when following best practices and the Z1 as the sound card when using the S4. I'm assuming updates over the years are no longer compatible with the S4 driver, and with hundreds of combinations have achieved no unflawed results
