I currently trying to update Session Horn's Pro along with several other libraries that have updates. The Updated SHP library is 30.6 GB, I already have 29.58 GB of Session Horn's Pro downloaded and installed.
When I update using Native Access, instead of just downloading and updating 1GB, Native Access is re-downloading the WHOLE THING(30.6 GB). Why???!? Is that the way it's supposed to work? When updating with my other library developers, they just download and install the new stuff (they don't make me redownload everything)
I've been a NI user for 20 years now, I don't remember updating being so inefficient. My other libraries are not that way, which leads me to believe I'm doing something wrong or it's my Apple M2 chip (it's my first update with this new Mac)
To make matters worse, my studio is outside a metro area and my internet download speed is very slow and capped to a limited amount a month, and updating in this inefficient way is very, very difficult.
I've been back and forth with support, without an clear answer to this question. Does anyone have any insight, thoughts, or ideas?
