Is anyone having CPU issues with Kontakt 7 (Iatest vers) when using PT Ultimate 2024.6 on Mac Studi?

Hello all,

I'm having bad CPU overload issues when using Kontakt 7 as a plugin inside Protools Ultimate 2024.6. I'm on a Mac Studio using Monterey 12.7.4 with 64 gB RAM…running PT in native (non-Rossetta) mode. I have an ultra fast nvme drive for storing libraries. I'm wondering if upgrading to Ventura would help.

I installed Kontakt 6 and ran in Rossetta mode, and everything seems fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

    Hello…I just upgraded to Kontakt 8…thinking that might resolve the issue. I am still having problems.

    I am running Protools 2024.6

    The CPU meter is not showing spikes, but when I play a Kontakt instrument…occasionally the audio will drop out as if the CPU is spiking, but the meter shows plenty of CPU left. my buffer sizes are usually 128 /256. I have been instructed by a NI support tech to leave the multi-processor option on…at 10 cores.

    Any help would be appreciated, since I just upgraded my Komplete 14 to 15, so I need to be able to use these instryments effectivelly.
