Preview Player "Play/Pause" button

on the upgrade the play button does not turn blue when a track is playing in the preview player…it stays gray which can be confusing sometimes..when there are loaded and you are switching between preview and tracks…

Anyone know if this is a setting or a permanent change?

It's permanent. And i find it unhelpful as well. The button gets a bit brighter when playing, barely noticable though.

It's part of the new GUI skin. So, maybe? There is a chance.

In case that you don't use all four decks, you can midi link the Preview player PLAY button to say Deck C or Deck D PLAY button via virtual MIDI cable. This way, when ever the preview player is playing it will also engage the Deck C/D play button which is a good indicator already.

Just a thought from the mapping perspective.
