Komplete Kontrol MKIII Stuck on Add Serial Screen

Hi,

I cannot believe I'm having this kind of issue with a product like this, but after going through all the guides and forums here I am completely stumped as to what to do.

I have a Komplete Kontrol MKIII that I'm trying to set up. It will not proceed past the "add serial screen".

Things I have done:

• Installed and reinstalled Hardware Connection Service
• Added serial number to Native Access
• Restarted and refreshed Native Access
• Restarted my computer
• Updated Windows
• Updated my motherboard BIOS
• Tried different USB C Cables
• Tried different ports on my computer

I am at my wit's end. Has anyone found some other way to fix this issue?

UPDATE: After trying every available port on my studio desktop motherboard I took the cable and plugged it into my PC laptop and the firmware updater immediately worked.

What are the USB port requirements for this MIDI controller?
