newbie dumb question
Is there a keyboard short-cut to control the volume of monarch (I am using in stand alone mode) without resorting to the dreaded mouse ?
I always need to balance volumes if I am playing along to a track and mouse does not have the fine control. Can I use one of the rotary knobs on my NI M controller….?
thanks for any replies

I would assume you just right click on the volume and select Learn MIDI from the drop down menu and twist the knob you want to assign it to.

Great suggestion - but I could not get any of the 8 rotary controllers on my M keyboard to adopt a midi command to adjust the volume level for the monarch instrument. With software you end trouble shooting minor annoying problems rather than making music….

Can you only map one of the 8 M series keyboard encoders if you are using Monarch through the a DAW (Logic in my case) ?
I tried to map an encoder knob in 'stand alone mode' after opening Monarch in KK, but no link was achieved.
