Are kontakt 7 and 8 two independent software? Can they work independently at the same time in the future?
Or, kontakt 8 just the upgrade version from the kontakt 7, so the kontakt 7 would not be in the library if you bought kontakt 8.
I am curious about that.

    From previous Kontakt versions I'd expect it to be a separate version that you can install alongside the existing ones. You can install Kontakt 5, Kontakt and Kontakt 7 concurrently so I'd be really surprised if K8 was any different. What I would expect is a cost to get it, same as going from K6 to K7 :)

    Obviously that's all speculation, and we'll know when it releases!
