Traktor pro 4 bug disables all NI controllers, help!!!

Be careful installing Traktor Pro 4 or trial version on older Mac OS. I tried installing. It said it does not support my OS and yet changed a setting that completely cut all connection with any Traktor controller. Can’t even use them in MIDI mode.

I can’t use my S5. S8. F1. Fount out at an event and was devastated. It does not even recognize it as a controller device. Only as an audio device. Very strange!

Tried firmware update and it connects and verifies that device is up to date.

I went out and bought an S4 mk3 in desperation. And that one doesn’t event work with Traktor pro 3.4

 Did not want to update my operating system and risk something else not working. 

Anyone with a similar issue? What should I do ? Is there a patch to fix this issue?

I had this issue and I think it is Controller Editor bug and not TP4. Re-importing the saved configuration file fixed the issue for me. This is mac and pc issue btw.

@Eventi What version of Controller Editor is installed on your system? Have you tried reinstalling it? What's your operating system?

check in the Traktor Settings/Controller Manager if the NI Devices have selected In-ports/out-ports

I think this might be what happened to me at the weekend. S4 detected and used for audio but controller not controlling anything. Turned out the in out ports weren't set.
