Anybody having trouble with Kontakt player 6.7.1 crashing on start up ?
Doesn't happen on my end (W10).
Have you tried these steps?

Thanks I will try this, I am using a MacBook pro 2016, it was working fine until the last update.
Does it crash on standalone?
Yes it crashes on Standalone too
Thanks for the answers so far, however nothing is solving this problem. If I install an older version of Kontakt 6 it works but as soon as i update it just crashes.
all the rest of NI is up to date and working Perfectly, I don’t have the full version of Kontakt 6 just the stranded version that came with my Komplete Kontrol s66 keyboard. But I must admit I’m glad I’ve never purchased it if it’s never gonna work. it sure is a hell of a lot of money for something that keeps crashing stop.
Deleting the database folder should resolve the crash on start, as far as I know.
@Norfolk Boy I have the same problem. I described it here in detail https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/4127/kontakt-6-7-1-only-runs-in-compatibility-mode-and-otherwise-crashes-does-anyone-have-an-idea#latest An older version 6.7.0. NI support sent me doesn't work as well. I haven't tried versions 6.6.X, I asked support for download links.
i am a computer repair man by trade and have been doing it for over 20 years, so I have tried every trick in the book to get Kontakt 6 to work and have just given up. It was working fine until they updated the dam thing. Now it just doesn’t work at all.
it’s a total waste of time.
@Norfolk Boy I think the problem on my computer was caused by the Nvidia graphics card driver. I uninstalled it and Kontakt stopped crashing. Windows then automatically reinstalled a different version of the Nvidia graphics card driver and Kontakt still runs fine.
It seems that you didn't contact our support yet about this issue. I contacted you by email, hopefully our Kontakt specialists will find a solution to this.
This worked for me. I'm just not sure why it didn't recreate this folder when I started Kontakt again.
Location of the Database Folder on Mac is:
it's located in your Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Kontakt
