Komplete Kontrol is not loading any of my instruments or expansions from my internal F drive
Hi all, want a bit of help from you knowledgeable guys here. I had to reset my windows 11 and now Komplete Kontrol is not loading any of my instruments or expansions from my internal F drive where they are all stored. The installation paths are recognized by Native Access and point me to the correct drive where they are installed. Standalone applications are loading ok from my c drive and are loaded in Kontrol. I have rescanned a number of times in Komplete but still not loading, anyone who can help me rectify my mistake would me much appreciated.
Paul.

Screencap would help. And running KK in standalone mode before attempting to use it in any DAW will help.
Also - do not forget to "repoint" KK as well. Paths set in Native Access have no bearing on any other software.

Yes i have done that, unfortunately unsuccessful, native access points me to where my content is correctly when i click on installation paths and is not asking me to relocate, also i have set the target drive in preferences in Komplete kontrol to my f drive and rescanned but still not loading them, i am missing something simple somewhere but at a loss.

@paul doolan Have you tried to reset Komplete Kontrol's database?
Reinitialize the KOMPLETE KONTROL Database
- Note: The "AppData" folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden Windows folders.
- Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the KOMPLETE KONTROL folder.
- Note: Deleting other NI product folders could result in unexpected behavior with other applications.
- Reopen the KOMPLETE KONTROL software to check that the issue has been resolved.

Hi Jeremy, sorry been away on business so just got back, i have carried out your instructions about hidden files and can see the Komplete Control folder but still hasn't been successful, i have ticked the hidden files link which shows it.
The problem started when i carried out a reset of windows which was playing up and since then Komplete Kontrol will not find my content folder which is on another drive. I will try to explain what's happening, if i load up Native access it shows all my files as installed and when i click installation paths on any expansion link it takes me to the correct folder where they are located so it sees the drive ok. Now another odd problem is that if i click the preferences tab in N access and click the file management tab and browse the VST location tab it brings up the location ok but the VST folders are empty but if i go directly to my vst folders on my c drive without going through N access the vst,s files are all shown.??
When i start Komplete Kontrol the only programs loaded are absynth,fm8, kinetic treats, massive, massive x super 8 r2. when i click the preferences tab then library and factory all common files are shown. on the user tab it shows my documents folder and the folder which my content is on which is a separate solid state drive so it see the drive but when i rescan, the contents files are not found and loaded into the KK or browser so cannot access them.
Sorry about the winded essay but i am stuck now.

Did you reinstall everything after that? I mean Kontakt, Reaktor, all NI applications?
Can you open Kontakt in standalone?
Regarding vst folders. Most of our plug-ins are now in the VST3 format, these are installed by default (and it's a convention for all manufacturers and DAWs). This is where they are installed: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
Please include screenshots if necessary, it can be helpful to understand the issue more sometimes.
