Cannot select pedals S61 Mk3

The instructions to select pedals for calibration etc. do not work. The instructions say “Knob 1 - Select Pedal”. On my Mk3, Knob 1 says “Mode Switch”. A button to select “Select Pedal” simply does not exist. I’ve tried everything - but either missing something or something wrong with newest firmware update.

You push the 4d encoder to the right, you don't turn it. Then you can set it to continuous and calibrate it The manual is for the old firmware before the midi template integration.

UWE!! That was it!!! Can’t believe how long I spent trying to do that - forgot the encoder pushes directionally - I was pushing it down and turning it (don’t I feel stupid).. Thanks so much.

    Hello,

on this page you use the 4d Encoder to select the pedal input you want to edit. And you can only caliibrate if you set it to continuous.

What Uwe said. What kind of pedal are you trying to set up?

Pedal #2 is expression - Yamaha FC7. I am stuck on Pedal #1 - can’t move the selection to the 2nd pedal in order to calibrate it. NI says Knob 1 changes the selection-it doesn’t. The encoder doesn’t change to the 2nd pedal. None of the knobs/buttons do either.
