Chris Hein Horns and Komplete Kontrol

I'm having some issues with some of the Chris Hein horn libraries. The libraries show up as a generic folder inside Kontakt 7 but they are not visible in Komplete Kntrol. See attached screen shots. I am also using Art Conductor by Babylon Waves inside of Studio One's sound variation feature. When loading the art conductor snapshot in Kontakt 7 it consistently asks me where the library is. I point to the library but still the snapshot does not load…. however, it does load within kontakt 6…. quite a few questions.

Cannot find any reference to this library having any NKS compatibility - so that may be why you cannot see it in a "traditional way" within Komplete Kontrol. (with nice easy to select presets etc)

And the "folder" display in Kontakt indicates the this library also does not ship with the traditional "partner" integration files (graphics etc) that give the nice library display you have with Cloud Supply, CineStrings Core etc.

I am sure you can use it in KK but you will need to load Kontakt manually and then load the instruments via the Files menu within Kontakt.

Maybe others have another solution but this is a very old library - well before the NKS days.

That may be related to whether a library is fully licensed NKS compatible. I get the same thing in KK when dealing with 8DIO libraries that only show up if I've added them to Quick Load which KK doesn't have (that I know of).

thanks guys…. I will investigate further
