[SUGGESTION] More automation options + [QUESTION] Existing automation solutions?
Automation is an activity that records the changing of a parameter on either the software or hardware: in both cases, this change is manual. The ability to place something like a linear increase between two different values in time, or a gentle gradient, or maybe even an LFO on a specific parameter, would be pretty useful.
The feature is more nice-to-have than it is essential, so given that, do any of you know some existing workaround? I know external midi controllers can be used to learn parameters:
So from there I think I should be on the lookout for some sort of software midi controller that generates the kind of waves, lines, and other shapes I'm looking for. Do any of you know of a software like this? Thanks for your help.

The AutoHotkey method detailed here works pretty well - I dont know if you are aware of it?

Thanks, this is an interesting workaround.

I would add that we shouldn't have to use the AutoHotKey method in 2022.
Like so many workarounds in Maschine, its a botch to try and get functionality that other DAWs (and yes, Maschine is a DAW - albeit a very limited one) has around 20 years ago.

Workaround has been in the game since 2018. Shame.
