Maschine 2 tempo not in sync with Fl studio when in plug in mode

Hey everyone! I am having this frustrating issue where when I open Maschine 2 as a plug-in in fl studio, the tempos aren't synced as they should be. Maschine is stuck at 120 when it should be changing when I change it on fl studio. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks!

Are you using the AU, VST2 or VST3 plug-in ? Is your Mac a M1 Mac or Intel ?
