expression pedal cc map resetting after reboot.

ive plugged in a expression pedal in my pedal b port (komplete kontrol s61 mk2), and have it linked with CC1 instead of CC11. works fine in komplete kontrol. but every time i reboot my PC cubase doesnt read it as CC1 but CC11 again.

i have to reopen komplete kontrol software for it to read CC1 again. is there a way to have it stay on CC1 all the time even after reboot??
having to open up komplete kontrol after every reboot is annoying.
