Apple Music / iTunes not updating on refresh

Hoping someone can point me in right direction. I'm non technical but a willing learner to follow simple instruction/advice ☺️

Im following the google searched advice on updating the itunes in file management but am not getting anywhere when refreshing the playlist option of the itunes library under music.

I have thousands of tracks in my itunes library but only 220 of them are appearing and all are from a long time ago!

Also many of the tracks don't have a bpm and can't be analysed.

Any help appreciated!

Seems like your macOS is already using Music.app instead of iTunes.app. Why are you using the library.xml-file?

Uncheck "Use legacy XML…", leave the path underneath blank. Now, re-start Traktor and click on Music on the left side in browser. It should say "(loading)" for a couple of seconds, then you can open the node and explore your Music.app library.
