Will OS update affect anything?

I am currently using Os 10.4 and I am thinking about updating to higher number. Will my Native Instruents plugins be working ? Any advice on how to proceed ?

Do you really mean 10.4 (Tiger) which is a very old OS? You can check out compatibility with Mac systems here - Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS – Native Instruments (native-instruments.com)
