Kompete Kontrol V3.3 and earlier keyboard view problem

Hi Just updated KK and S88 to the latest versions and installed saffron all works well except in KK stand alone when I go to edit mode to bring up the Keyboard view the on board KB no longer works i.e. no midi input and no light guide no combination of the vies work , this seams deliberate as it used to work my S61 Mk2 or am i just missing somthing any help most appreciated.

OK I updated to KK v 3.3.1 and things are all working again but I still have 1 we niggle, in order to see the Keyboard view working, I have to press view on main menu, then select edit view (ctrl+3), then press the spanner key in Kontakt in order for it to work, is this a bug or am I not understanding how KK works, it seams to be fine in Kontakt. but in order to see the keyboard working on my monitor screen in I have to go through a lot of extra not very obvious steps , surly this cannot be right , upgrading to the S88Mk3 has caused this problem for me, any help appreciated.

That is how it is.

KK shows a limited (compact) view by default. Believe me when I say it has been asked over the years to have an OPTION to set which of the views one wants as default, but likely no chance that will ever be a thing so you will have to get use to those clicks.
