I have no physical control of my S88 mk3. It mirrors what I see in S1 but I cannot control anything from the keyboard itself, like browse or hit play, stop "transport controls". I have followed all steps, have the latest firmware. Has anyone faced this and could you possibly point me in the best direction to fix this.

What sort of setup did you do in Studio One?

While S1 has been MK3 compliant for a long while but is not plug and play. Drivers are needed etc for everything to work correctly.

Plus there has been a lot of updates/ fixes in S1 itself - now on version 6.6.2.

V6.5.0 is way old in relevant terms these days.

Just to clarify (annoying I know), when you say all the steps, have you done all of these particular steps?

For me, on Studio One 6.6.2 Windows 11, if you turn on the keyboard after starting studio one I don't have daw control. I can regain daw control by removing Kontrol Mk3 from the external devices settings tab and clicking on the reconnect button. Closing studio one completely and reopening it with the keyboard on works too.

For me - with my S61 MKII - I always fire up the device well in advance of ever starting Studio One.

Do this for all my hardware actually.

    Has never failed me yet.

It appears to me (at least based on the many reports on the forums today) that the latest iteration of all the new MKIII software, drivers etc that there are a whole pile of undiscovered issues out there.

This could be another one if them.

Boiled down to two issues in the last 24 hours.

    1. Issue affecting some A, M and SMK2 users (see here)
    2. One MK3 user somehow had a broken DFU driver. Fixing that resolved their issue.
