No MIDI from KONTROL S88 MK3 in Cubase?

ON cubase only KONTROL S88 MK3 Main for imput channel works.

I am on MIDI 2.0 on hardware but i can switch to 1.0 if it is necessary.

Yes we would recommend to switch it to MIDI 1.0.

Regarding the ports. That's how it's supposed to work. The S88MK3 Main is the port for MIDI information (notes and CC). the DAW port is only here for communication with the DAW.

So in Kontakt you only need to select the Main port and unselect all the other ones.

And I meant KOMPLETE KONTROL, the standalone application. Please also select only the Main port there as well.

Is everything functional now? If not can you try again without any other MIDI device connected?

No it does not fix anything. Cubase 13 and 12 does not have good response with the MK3 series on mac.

I 've tried on 11 with a friend e-licenser USD and the keyboard works very well. My actual Cubase 13 new license does not allowed me to use Cubase 11 haha… Then i am f…up.

If you have any other idea, it is welcome. I think it is a Cubase 12 and 13 bug. I've tried without other midi controller connect and select also / All midi imput instead of MK3 DAW one… No way…

@AL EX I've done some digging and talked to some colleagues. There was one user with the same symptoms as you. The solution was simply to reset Cubase preferences to default. You can do that by quitting all programs and renaming or deleting the Cubase 13 folder found here:

Macintosh HD\*Your Username*/Library/Preferences\Cubase 13

Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:
