How to setup MIDI channel on Maschine 2?
I'm sorry for asking such a rudimentary question.
I only have a Maschine Studio 2.14. no other DAW.
I want to use a vst call "Chods". from W.A
It does not have any sound. only makes the chords automatically, the sound must be sent out through other instruments.
What I did:
- Loaded the chods on channel 1
- Loaded a kontakt piano on channel 2
- And then I got stuck
Can you tell me how to set it up after that?
Thank you

Unfortunately MIDI plugins (arpeggiators, chord plugins, ...) cannot be used with Maschine currently.
A workaround is to use something like Blue Cat Patchwork, but this is a quite expensive workaround.

I found this info on the WA side.

In other words, Maschine does not support MIDI Out from Plugins, unfortunately.
Plugins like Cthulhu, Scaler 2, CaptainChords, ChordPrism, Forager, Chordz, Riffer, etc, etc won't work correctly or with full functionality at least. The only workaround is to use plug-in wrappers like for example the one @Reefius mentioned, there are many others, I use MiniHost Modular from Image-Line, it's free and very basic compared to Blue Cat but does the job.
