I installed Traktor 4 and transfered my collection from V3
The flagship feature that prompted me to upgrade is in suite Stem separation.. but it appears that it's not available with Beatsource Tracks?
Does anyone know a way around this?
As far as I know, this is not allowed with Beatsource / Beatport. The only streaming service that offers such a feature as an add on is Tidal.
No, because Beatport would need a new licence agreement with with the major record labels in order to allow their customers to do this.
Don't blame Traktor, blame Universal Music, Warner, Sony and EMI for wanting a slice of the stem separation pie.
You could also blame Beatport for not getting their finger out to solve this, but that might mean having to potentially up their prices with consumers; which is exactly what happened when Tidal reintroduced the DJ add on tier.
