Well, I assume Max4Live uses MIDI Control Change (aka MIDI CC)you can assign MIDI CCs to different parameters in a given Kontakt library, simply choose the rack view and choose MIDI Automation. there's also a Host section automation

You can check the manual p.101:

    https://www.native-instruments.com/fileadmin/ni_media/downloads/manuals/kontakt/Kontakt-7-8-manual-english.pdf

    I hope that helps.

Good morning. Thank you for the answer.Apparently it works. But, I was faced with a problem with a parameter of the Irish bagpipes. I thought you could control the Mode parameter with a Control Change, but that's not possible. I have the impression that there are only 2 possibilities: off and something else.My question now is: how do you set this parameter to control it with a MIDI message?

Can you include screenshots to illustrate? So I can see if I can reproduce the issue/see what's possible and what's not?

Ok I can't get this version at the moment. If you can't tight click a parameter and choose MIDI learn this parameter can't be assigned.
