Kontakt VST2 vs VST3 - volume differences

Hello, I'm having an odd issue with a sound in Ethereal Earth 2.

I have downgraded to EE 2.0.2 because I needed to load a project with a K6 (VST2) that was using it.

So, I managed to reload the project and saved a snapshot from K6 VST2, to be able to get the exact sound back in K7.

The odd thing is that when loading the snapshot in both K6 VST3 (6.8.0) and K7 VST3 (7.10.5 IIRC) the sound is almost exactly 12DB quieter.

All settings seem the same (including mixer and routing), I have automation on CC7 and tried to send a CC11 with value 127 to all instances, but nothing changed.

The value stays different, both the VST3 instances sound 12dB quieter.

Is there a reason for that?

I tried a similar process in another library, and in this case, no level difference was noticed between VST2 and VST3.

I'm curious about what it could be….
