Looking for R&B producers to work with

I’m an R&B/Soul singer who’s looking for producers in the UK (preferably London) who have experience with sounds similar to those of artists like Destin Conrad, Jazmine Sullivan, Maeta, Giveon, Muni Long, SZA, etc. Not looking for trap sounds like Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller, etc.

I have made a few songs over beats taken from YouTube/BeatStars but don’t have exclusive licensing and would now like to start writing/recording songs I’m actually able to publish and earn money from. I’m happy to send demos of these songs if you want to get an idea of my sound.

If this is not the right area/anyone knows a better forum for me to look for producers on, please guide me to the right place!

My advice would be to get some clips up online over multiple platforms, not just TikTok.

I've just been looking around and found three very short clips here https://www.tiktok.com/@jaydencams but that seems to be the only place.

Do you have any way of making backing tracks yourself i.e. Maschine? Can you play any instruments or have any music theory knowledge?

@PK The DJ Thank you for your reply! Yes I only recently started posting short clips online but took a pause to reevaluate what I’m going to post etc so I have a plan for the long term. What other platforms would you recommend posting clips on?

I don’t play an instrument (although I’m looking to start piano lessons soon) and I have 0 knowledge of production/music theory aside from what I’ve learned through osmosis from singing.

I’m definitely open to learning but I’m also aware of the time it would take to become proficient. In the mean time I would still like to find someone I can work with consistently. Does this seem unrealistic to you? Or do you know where else I could look?

    What other platforms

Everywhere, basically! I see you have an Instagram account, but there's no mention of you being a singer. I didn't even notice at first that one of the Instagram posts is a singing clip (copy of TikTok post).

Sell yourself. Mention that's what you do. Use tags so when people search, you're in the results.

YouTube is a big one. Draw attention to yourself by doing covers of current songs, because people search for those. Post comments under the original videos telling others that you've covered it. etc. etc.
