massive X downloads and installs... but it doesn't

i bought it june 30th and i still haven't been able to use it . native access tells me that it is downloading then installed but when i check the path it hasn't even created the fold for it and if i search for it in my apps it isn't there. I have reinstalled it several times and it doesn't work what am i missing?

It's a plugin only, there isn't a standalone version. Is it not showing up in your DAW?

Again, this needs more info. Computer specifications, used operating system, used Native Access version.

I have a 11th generation Intel i7 cpu 32 gigs of ddr4 ram. Win 11 and the most recent version of native access. Is there a pla e to find older versions of native access? Maybe that would help? All the video tutorials are clearly with an older version

Yes since it's not creating a folder and pulling the files into it. I cannot scan it in to my daw

Need you to tell us which DAW you are running and where (exactly) that DAW is looking for plugins.

Native Access installs two version of the VST version (VST2 and VST3). If you cannot see either of these in your DAW - you DAW is not scanning the right locations or does not have access to scan.

Also - you can see where Native Access is installing it's plugins by opening Preferences→File Management.

You will see the paths that NI use (which are about as non-standard as it gets for plugins).

Review these paths and then ensure your DAW is scanning these oddball locations.

Im using flstudio and the paths I'm scanning are correct but as I said the plugin is not being put into the folder. Isn't not even making a folder for it so scanning isn't the issue. Native access is telling me it's installed but the folder isn't being created and the 1st is not being put into the folder that doesn't exist

You need to examine the folders that NA is using.

And despite your comments - No other folders will be created. They already exist.

The Massive X VST2 will be placed in the VST2 (64 bit) folder. The VST3 will be installed automatically into the standard folder found at

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

This folder is an industry standard folder that all vendors must use.

I am also assuming you are using Windows since you did not mention which OS you are using.

One thing is for certain - if Native Access says the plugin is installed - it’s installed. It is simply not being scanned.

i have checked all the folders I have Massive installed but Massive X is still not in any folders

Still have not told us which DAW. Or which version of Native Access or which OS.

And remember that Massive and Massive X are two different apps and have nothing to do with each other - especially when it comes to installation.

The reason I mentioned that massive is installed is because many people are saying that massive X is for sure installed and that it is in the vst folder, but infact it is not

Sorry to be so persistent, but, to which folder are you trying to install Massive X?

Full path please. Example: "C:\ProgramFiles\Vstplugins".
