Windows 10 does not detect installed driver for Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2 but detects the device...

I'm using an Acer Nitro 5 Laptop Running Windows 10 Home - 64bit - Version 22H2 - OS Build 19045.4651 - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz - 16GB Ram

Despite trying for hours and hours I am unable to get my Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2 working. I know it's not a hardware issue as Windows detects the device, all lights flash during the S4 startup, master USB light flashes when connected (which tells me I have an issue with the connection). I'm using a USB 2.0 port on my laptop instead of a 3.0 port as this has been listed as a potential problem in other posts. I've tried installing the Drivers and Traktor 2 software manually along with using the Native Access Software to install the drivers and the Traktor 2 software. Nothing seems to work. Windows is clearly doing something to interfere with NI driver functionality. I'm pretty much ready to throw in the towel on this unless someone from the community or someone from NI can help. I've attached a bunch of screenshots below with some comments to help explain the above. Thanks.

Windows device manager detects the device - is connected - <true>

Windows thinks that there are no compatible drivers for the device.

Windows also thinks that there are no drivers for the device installed…

I've installed the drivers for the device both manually and using Native Access.

I tried using the install software provided by NI to install the drivers for my device but windows tells me that the drivers aren't designed for my machine. NI tells me that these drivers work with Windows 7 and up…

Windows installs it's own drivers for the device when I connected it via a USB 2.0 port and that it's ready to use…

Ready to use… More like not even there. NI included Control Panel Software can't detect the device or diagnose it. Yet windows device manager detects it…

Traktor 2 can see the drivers yet can't detect the device. Windows can see the device yet can't detect the drivers… ****** is going on… XD

Hot damn. So final resort. I'm digging in my storage room to check the box. The store I bought this from stuck a sticker over the original bar-code on the box. Probably for their own inventory system. It says Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2. The original UPC and writing underneath says nothing of the sort. That's when I realised I've got the MK1. ******. Ignore this post! 😫🤬😆🤣
