Coupon for free instrument

Alright I am at a complete loss here. I got an email that gave me a coupon code that I could redeem for an instrument worth up to $499. Trying to use the damn thing I'm finding that there's nothing in your entire inventory that will allow me to make a purchase. Not a standalone guitar not a standalone cello! What am I supposed to do with this besides drive myself batty trying to redeem it?

What are the terms and conditions for use of the coupon/code?

The Summer Of Sound sale is on. If it says that it can't be used on items that are already discounted, that's why you can't use it.

I get it that NI doesn't want to give additional savings on already reduced stuff. But especially during Summer of Sound it is very annoying with these vouchers, as there is simply no way to use them at all. Especially if you got these coupons with hardware and are supposed to encourage the use of your new device. Got a voucher for 6 free Expansions with my Maschine - not for reduced products at least 49€ of value. Will redeem it next week after Summer of Sound - Expansions will be 49€ again and not reduced. What's the difference? Especially as this gives me that Expansions for free the one or the other way. Almost already decided which Expansions to get and as this was a tough choice I may had bought a number 7 and 8 on sale pricing. Next week it will be strictly six. Or maybe I'll find another 25€ voucher in my mails.

Same her with @SuddenShock: NI would just need to state that 499$ maximum for a free instrument is based on regular pricing and not on sale pricing. Could be so easy, wouldn't annoy customers and avoid this question at all.

TL;DR: Wait till next week when sale is over…

Yeah I get it now. It's a little bit ridiculous though that they can't put in correct language so that you actually understand what's going on with it.

The only problem is that I've already lost a $50 voucher while the sale was going on because I couldn't use it to buy anything. Talk about annoying!

Why you lost it? Was it already 6 months old? My vouchers are valid for 6 months it says in the mails.
