Z1 cuts off the sound and has a lot of distortion.

Hello to everybory!

I have three Z1 controllers and two laptops: a MacBook Air 2014 (Intel) and a MacBook Pro 2020 (M1). As a wedding DJ, I use two setups: one for the welcome cocktail area and another for the dinner area etc.

I've tested all three Z1 controllers with both laptops. One particular Z1 has significant distortion and frequent sound cutoffs when used with the MacBook Pro (M1) and the latest Traktor 3 update. This Z1 works fine with the MacBook Air (Intel), and the other two Z1 controllers work fine with the MacBook Pro (M1).

I also use an X1 Mk3. The issue with the Z1 feels similar to old latency, buffer size, or driver issues I experienced with Windows XP and old Pioneer SB/Serato gear. Any help would be appreciated.

    Yes the other two work good with Intel and M1

    unfortunately, I had to use the other two Z1 but recently I needed the third one and the problem still continues …
