How do I gift my recently purchased native instrument to a friend?

I recently purchased the '8Dio - Modern Scoring Bundle NKS Store' when it was on sale for a composer friend who happens also to be a priest and doesn't have a bank account so I bought it for him. I would like now for him to download the instruments onto his mac to use in Logic Pro.

How do I go about doing this? I read online somewhere that if I haven't registered it with a serial number I can do this, which I haven't.

Can you please walk me through the process step-by-step? I don't have any experience doing this. Also can you please tell me what he has to do on his end.

Look in your Native Instruments account online under "My Products and Serials". If the product hasn't been registered you'll find it listed in the "Not Registered" section at the top you can give him the serial number.

He will need to open Native Access on his computer then click the "Add Serial" link at the bottom left of the Native Access window. He then puts in the serial number you gave him and it should register the software to his account. Once that's done he'll be able to download and use the software.

If you have problems come back and let us know.

Hello eyeangle, yes mykejb's answer is correct here and to add if you have already registered the product in your account, then you can just request a license transfer either on your or our side.

In order to transfer your licenses to a new owner from your end, please follow the instructions in this article:https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/articles/209566129

Once the Transfer ID is created, you can pass it onto the next owner, along with these instructions:https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/articles/209566549

If you wish that we de-register your product from our end so you can send the serial to your friend, then please open a chat support ticket clicking the chat icon on the right bottom of your page in this link: https://bit.ly/NI_support_NA

    I hope this helps☺️
