cannot get Hardware Connection to download
Registered new keyboard in Native Access. Cannot download Komplete Start (not shown) and cannot download Hardware Connection (shown but download always fails). Frustrated. Followed all instructions I can find. MacMini M1, 16gb ram, 1TB SSD, Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, Native Access 3.11.1. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hardware itself is never listed inside of Native Access as far as I know. As it is hardware you don‘t need to download your keyboard. But that is the whole purpose of NA: Download and activate your NI software products. If you register your hardware you get access to many included products. These are listed in its own in Native Access and unlocked by your hardware serial. You should have Kontakt, Komplete Kontrol, Guitar Rig 7 LE and some others unlocked in Native Access with your hardware. So it is totally fine that Native Access doesn‘t list KONTROL S61 MK3 HW.
It is similar with Komplete bundles. They also don‘t list as Komplete 14 in Native Access. If you register a Komplete bundle it unlocks all contained single products. And these are listed in Native Access. You should have Kontakt 7, Battery 4, Reaktor, Guitar Rig 6 Pro, Massive, Massive X and many more in Native Access. It is totally fine that Native Access doesn‘t list Komplete Select for S series and Komplete Standard Upgrade.
As KONTROL S61 MK3 HW, Komplete Select for S series and Komplete Standard Upgrade are listed in „My products and serials“ everything is registered to you account. All included products you should have access to should be downloadable in NA.
Reason why all the bundles are unbundled within NA is simple: Not everyone wants to install every part of a bundle. In case of the Collectors Edition we are talking about 1 TB hard disk space! And if only one even small component has a minor change - let‘s say Kino which in my screenshot is only 18 MB in size - every user has to download his complete bundle again to update. And NI had to offer new downloads for every bundle containing it. This way just one small download.

Komplete Start is a free download anyway:
Native Access usually doesn't show the Komplete Bundle as a single download. The contained parts are listed separately. As an example I added a section of my library in Native Access (with Komplete 14 Standard). If you bought your Keyboard now during Summer of Sound you should get Komplete 14 Select and not only Start.
Is your Komplete licence listed in your Native Instruments account in "My products and serials"?

This whole thing seems pretty screwy. I see some registered products, for example Kontrol S61 MK3 HW, and it's serial number, and next to that a link to download it from Native Access, but when I click that link it always takes me to a webpage about which version of Native Access 2 I should download…but I already did download it. And Kontrol S61 KM3 HW is nowhere in the Native Access Library. I do see Komplete Select for S series and Komplete Standard Upgrade. I've entered the serial numbers for both, but neither show in the NA library even after hitting refresh. I just need to get the steps in the right order to load these. The instructions are not at all intuitive. Thanks for your reply. Any help is appreciated, including a resource like a decoder ring so I can figure out what's going on. And, do I have to load each instrument into GarageBand separately? This could take a long time…This looks like a nice interface something that is completely chaotic and disconnected behind the interface.

Thanks! I'm making headway (slowly) with loading some instruments. I attached a pedal I had from an old Kurzweil K-2000 and got it hooked up and calibrated. Next is to see how to load Kontakt into GarageBand Thanks for your detailed answers! Much appreciated.
