GarageBand Compatability

New to NI Hardware and Software. I have a Mac mini M1, 16gb ram, 1TB Storage, GarageBand DAW.

Wondering if Kontrol S61 MK3 with Komplete 14 Standard is compatible with my Mac configuration and GarageBand? Will the Kontrol keyboard features work to run GarageBand or am I buying a more sophisticated keyboard than GarageBand is capable with? Thanks in advance.

Komplete 14 Standard and the S61 Mk3 - I have both of those. They work just fine in Garageband.

After you install the software, fire up GarageBand and it'll scan everything in, and then off you go. I have the same Mac mini M1 and it runs just fine, barely breaking a sweat. I've done things with 4 or 5 plugins loaded at once doing different things in each one.

I haven't run through every single plugin as there is a lot in standard I have not worked with yet but far as I am aware it's fully compatible. The only thing you'll probably want sooner than later is more storage space :)
