Coming back to test the 3.11.1 reminded me of a long standing issue i started to have somewhere in-between 2022-2023.
When attempting to exit Traktor, the software accesses a large number of audio files on my external hard drives during the saving collection process. This occurs even when the "Don't write tags on files" option is enabled or even when there are no changes on my collection at all. As a result, it takes Traktor over 40 to 50 minutes to save its collection. However, if I remove my external hard drives before exiting Traktor, the software saves the collection and exits within approximately 40 seconds.
Expected Behavior
Traktor should not access a large number of audio files without a reason, leading to a faster saving collection process and exit time even with external hard drives connected.
Actual Behavior
Traktor accesses a large number of audio files on external hard drives during the saving collection process, causing a significant delay (40-50 minutes) in exiting the software.
Additional Information
I have attached screenshots showing the file access logs which indicate the large number of audio files being accessed during the saving collection process.
System Information
- Traktor Version: 3.11.1
- Operating System: Windows 11
Troubleshooting Steps Taken
- Safely removed external hard drives before exiting, which significantly reduced the saving collection time.
