Can't install Komplete Kontrol

I am using Windows 11. When I try to install Komplete Kontrol, it appears to be working, then eventually this failure message pops up:

I looked and the specified path appears to be there:

Am I looking at it wrong? Any ideas how to fix this?

    If you RMB on the shortcut and "open file location" then launch the executable, does it then work?

    Many times shortcuts on the menu are preferred to be located under appdata/local, which are specific to your user login. Do you have machine-wide administrator rights?

    @Brad Yost…it helped—I got further by doing that—but there seems to be something wrong with downloading in general on this computer, so that's going to have to be resolved before I'm going to get very far. Thanks for the help.
