I changed my sample rate (for an "unknown" reason) in Ableton 12 suite. Kontakt said I needed to close and restart my instances on Kontakt/Komplete Kontrol/Maschine 2. I started with Maschine 2 vst, and when it opened back up, no instruments or samples loaded into my library. I quit Ableton and ran rescans on Maschine, Kontakt 7 and Komplete Kontrol. none of them show my libraries. I've given Full Disk Access to all Native instruments applications. Restarted my computer. ran in Rosetta. Reinstalled via Native Access. Which caused me to accidentally update Komplete Kontrol. Browser worked fine in there. but I needed to uninstall so I could still use my MK1 S25 Keyboard. Kontakt 7 - 7.10.5 Komplete Kontrol - 2.9.6 (Mk1 compatible) Maschine 2 - 2.18.1 MacOS Ventura 13.6.7 full discloser .. I recently updated to the Sonoma compatibility versions of Kontakt 7 and Maschine (not Komplete Kontrol), even though I'm using the latest version of Ventura.
You would only need to run your DAW in Rosetta mode to open old projects. What about opening Kontakt in standalone? What shows here? What's missing? Have you tried resetting the database?
Opened an Ableton project I know used Kontakt, all the presets are still saved in the project. But I can't see any presets for other instruments. I could see my library if I clicked on the instrument bar. but if I moved the window, it would disappear. reverting back to the empty preset page.
I did open in standalone for all three. That’s what led me to NI and not Ableton support.
But, I was able to figure it out with one of the support topics in here. Coincidentally, deleting application support and favorites bin (or something like that) folders, did the trick!
