GR7 doesnt open GR6

Hi. I have an issue with GR7. I work with friend between 2 PCs on the same projects. I have GR7, he works on GR6. When I open Ableton, the UI shows GR6 as a missing plugin, "Couldnt load plugin" etc. I cant open it with GR7. I suppose this shouldnt occur. Is there any obvious solution Im overlooking?

    What you are seeing is normal and expected since GR6 and GR7 are separate plugins and need to both be installed to do what you want to do.

    No “newer” version of any NI plugin will open a prior versions reference or use in a session.
