Maximizer delay issue

I really enjoy using Maximizer as a limiter!

However, when I tried to use the Maximizer on one of the duplicated tracks, there seems to be a little delay of, I think 10 ms…

Is this some sort of bug or something?

Not that it bothers me or something, I was just confused…

If it’s look ahead maximizer, it will introduce delay to be able to calculate the result. Your DAW should have delay compensation for plugins, which one do you use?

You need to check if it has plugin delay compensation and switch it on. If the maximizer is on a bus, it might not be possible. Otherwise, there’s no simple solution. Maximizers and Loudness Limiters do need some time to analyse incoming signal, that’s what creates the delay.
