Help with using Maschine in Logic. Is what I want to do even possible?

So basically anything in maschine that's not a drum kit is basically useless in logic.
No, no, not at all!
You can do everything if you're recording the MIDI into the Maschine Plugin, it's when you want to record directly to Logic that there's a problem, especially when using smart play functions. If it's Drums or Instruments is irrelevant, you just have to set up things slightly differently for each; so a basic understanding of how MIDI works in both Logic and MAS is required.
How do you record just maschine parts and then drag to logic after?
You just record normally then use the drag-and-drop MIDI button right above the piano roll... Most people use the Audio One next to it tho.
There's lot of confusion on your end, to explain everything it would take a wall of text, he's a unlisted 1min video of me recording in Chord Mode and transferring the MIDI over to Logic:
Audio is a bit ****** as I recorded my voice with my phone so turn on subtitles.
