My Kontakt 7 keeps crashing every time I load Ableton Live Standard 12.0.5.

My Kontakt 7 keeps crashing every time I load Ableton Live Standard 12.0.5.

It won't let me open any projects with existing Kontakt 7 tracks on them, and it won't let me load Kontakt 7 onto any new tracks in any project. I have tried re-setting Ableton, that's when I figured out it was only Kontakt. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but that hasn't worked either.

The other product I use is Guitar Rig 7, and that seems to work ok, just Kontakt 7 is the issue.

My computer specs are:

AMD Ryzen 5 5500U with Radeon Graphics 2.10 GHz

64-bit, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get around this issue?

Also, I am looking at taking advantage of the half price offer and purchase Komplete Standard, but I am worried that this issue might be the case with other products within Komplete. Does anyone have any advice on this?
