Is Traktor 4 imminent?

I've had Traktor Pro 2 for years, never needed to upgrade to 3. Switched to DJ 2 since it supported High-DPI screens and felt much fresher and modern. However, noticed there is a sale on for TP 3 at £27 (upgrade pricing). Its obvious that Traktor Pro is built on very old libraries hence the lack of High-DPI support.

Is NI working on a replacement to Traktor Pro and if so will be in the form of a fourth version therefore making an upgrade to TP 3 pointless since it won't be getting any major updates?

At least the sale on Traktor licence isn't a sign that TP4 is coming. These half price sales Traktor licence occur regulary. I expect the next one around black friday.

But I expect something these year. There is a closed beta running. Usually x.1 betas were public and they announced that in-app-stem-separation and flexible beatgrids should come. Won't expect the features in a x.1 release. But who knows maybe it will be just Traktor Pro 3.12 and those feature require Plus subscription. Or you need this even if it is called TP4. Those who know aren't allowed to tell us.

Can't say. But if they release a tp4, do you think the upgrade from 2 to 4 will also be only 27 GBP?

Why not get the upgrade, and if they release tp4 you can upgrade again (If you want the new features.)
